1. How can I book a flight through Routespring?
Booking a flight through Routespring is simple. Follow these detailed instructions:
Log in to Your Routespring Account:
You will land on the bookings page with the options 'Flights' , 'Hotels' , 'Cars' and 'Bookings'
Select a Traveler (Yourself or if you have permissions, another person from your organization or a guest traveler)
Enter Flight Details:
- In the booking form, you’ll be asked to enter:
- Departure city and destination city.
- Departure date and return date (if booking a round trip).
Select Flights:
- A list of available flights will appear based on your input.
- You can filter results by airline, departure time, duration, and price.
- Routespring will automatically indicate which flights comply with your corporate travel policy using colored markers or labels.
Review and Confirm Flight:
- Once you’ve selected a flight, you will be taken to a confirmation screen:
- Review the flight details, including luggage allowance, seating, and cancellation policy.
- Ensure the pricing is correct and fits within your travel budget.
Submit for Approval:
- If your company’s travel policy requires approval, the flight will be placed on hold and a notification will be sent to your 'approver'
- Your designated approver will be notified via email and can approve or reject the request in real-time.
Receive Confirmation:
- Once the flight is approved, you will receive an email confirmation with the booking reference number and e-ticket.
- The flight will also appear in your “Upcoming Trips” section on the dashboard.
