Creating "Guest Profiles"
Why use "Guest Profiles"?
Your business operations may need "Guest Profiles" to easily retrieve and reuse traveler profiles for non-employees, such as consultants, contractors, or clients who travel on your company’s behalf. This functionality ensures that each traveler’s preferences, loyalty memberships, and essential details are stored and ready for future bookings, streamlining the process and saving time. It eliminates repetitive data entry, reduces booking errors, and ensures consistency in managing travel arrangements according to company policies, even when the travelers are outside the organization.
How to enable "Guest Profiles"?
When you book travel for guest travelers, the traveler information will automatically be saved under "Guest Profiles" if this option is enabled for that booker.
How to reuse any of the "Guest Profiles"?
- Go to book travel
- Under "Add traveler", type the name of the traveler for whom you intend to book travel. If the traveler information is already saved in the "Guest Profiles", you can select it and proceed to search for travel options.
- When you proceed to book, the saved traveler information will be used automatically, with no need to re-enter the data.
Where to find "Guest Profiles"?
If "Guest Profiles" is enabled, a
department called "Guest Profiles" is created by default, where all saved guest traveler profiles are stored. You can delete any profile within this department, just like deleting any user in your account.
Can guest travelers under "Guest Profiles" book travel on their own?
No, these are saved traveler profiles only. These travelers do not have access to Routespring platform unless you move them to a different department.
