Ryanair is a low-cost airline available to book directly through Routespring. Because Ryanair requires you to confirm your booking directly on their site before it is finalised, Routespring automatically redirects you to complete that step — no agent involvement needed.
Once you complete the verification on Ryanair's page, control returns to Routespring and your trip is confirmed. The full itinerary — with your PNR, fare details, and invoice — is available immediately in Manage Bookings.
This replaces an older flow where Ryanair bookings were handed off to a Routespring agent and could remain in a pending state for an extended period. The new flow is fully self-service and completes in minutes.
After you confirm the booking, Routespring shows a verification prompt and redirects you to confirm your flight on Ryanair's site. Once done, your itinerary is ready immediately.
If the fare is outside your company's travel policy, the booking request goes to your Travel Manager for approval. The verification redirect happens after approval is granted — not before.
When you approve an outside-policy Ryanair booking, the verification redirect fires immediately in your browser — you complete the flight confirmation on Ryanair's site before the trip is finalised.
If the verification page times out, the browser is closed, or the verification fails, the booking is not confirmed and no charge is made. You can restart the booking and attempt verification again.
Use this flow when the Ryanair fare you have selected is within your company's travel policy and no approval is required.
Search & select flight → Confirm booking → Ryanair verification → Trip confirmed
1 | Search for and select a Ryanair flight In Routespring, go to Book and search for your flight as usual. Ryanair flights appear in search results alongside other carriers — there is no separate search required. |

2 | Review the fare details and consent notice Before confirming, Routespring shows fare details including the fare family (e.g. Value, Regular, Flexi Plus), baggage allowance, and seat type. A consent notice explains that completing this booking involves a redirect to Ryanair's site. Review these details, then click Confirm Booking. |

3 | Complete the Ryanair verification A Booking Status panel appears showing Verification Required. Routespring opens the Ryanair verification page — follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your flight. Keep this browser window open; closing it before finishing will leave the booking unconfirmed. |
After clicking Book, the Booking Status panel appears with a Verification Required notice.

If the Ryanair fare you have selected is outside your company's travel policy — for example, it exceeds the maximum fare class allowed — the booking requires approval from your Travel Manager before verification can proceed.

1 | Traveler selects the flight and sends the approval request The traveler selects the out-of-policy Ryanair fare and clicks Select Flight. The booking review shows Not in Policy. Fill in the required fields, read the consent notice, then click Send Approval Request.
Routespring confirms the approval request has been sent to your admin. You will receive the itinerary by email once approved.
2 | Travel Manager reviews and approves The Travel Manager receives an email with the itinerary details and a policy note. They open the approval page, review the fare, and click Approve Travel. The Ryanair verification redirect fires immediately in their browser. If they disapprove, the traveler is notified and no charge is made. |
