Hotel Payments Using Routespring Virtual Card

Prerequisite

Your company account needs to enabled for using Routespring's virtual cards for hotel payments. If you want to enable this functionality, please reach out to sales@routespring.com. 

How does it work? 

  1. Make a hotel reservation from your Routespring account and select "Bill to Company" as the payment method. 
    1. If you don't see "Bill to Company" as the payment method, please contact your travel admin to enable it for your account. 
  2. Routespring will deploy a unique virtual card for this hotel reservation. 
  3. An authorization is automatically sent to the hotel to use this virtual card to pay for reservation. 
  4. When you check-in at the hotel, the front desk should have the virtual card details to charge for your room charges & taxes. 

How can I provide virtual card details if the hotel front desk representative asks for it? 

  1. On the day of your check in, log into your Routespring account
  2. Go to "My Trips" and find the hotel reservation 
  3. Click on "View Card Details" to view the card details. 
  4. If the hotel is requesting a credit card authorization form, you can click on "View Authorization Form" and email the PDF to the hotel's requested email address.
