How to Modify Your Hotel Booking in Routespring?

If you need to adjust your hotel reservation, Routespring makes it simple to update your check-in and check-out dates. Follow these steps to modify your hotel booking:


Steps to Request Hotel Changes:

1. Go to "My Trips"

  • Log in to your Routespring account.
  • Click on your profile name at the top right corner.
  • Select "My Trips" from the dropdown menu.



2. Open the Hotel Itinerary

  • Find the trip that includes the hotel reservation you want to modify.
  • Click on the itinerary to open the booking details.



3. Click on "Request Changes"

  • Locate the "Request Changes" button at the bottom of your hotel itinerary.
  • Click it to begin the modification process.

4. Update Check-in and Check-out Dates

  • A pop-up will appear allowing you to modify your check-in and check-out dates.
  • Select the new dates that fit your updated travel plans.
  • Click "Modify Dates" to proceed.



5. Check Availability and Updated Pricing

  • Routespring will fetch availability for the updated dates.
  • The system will display the new total fare based on the selected dates.



6. Accept the New Price

  • A confirmation message will appear with the new total fare.
  • Click "Accept" to proceed with the updated booking.

7. New Booking is Processed Automatically

  • Once you accept the new fare, the system will process the updated booking.
  • The previous booking will be automatically canceled, and a new booking will be created with the updated dates.



8. Handling Booking Modification Failures

  • If the modification process is interrupted due to a technical issue or system failure, Routespring Support will be notified automatically.
  • If the modification cannot be completed, a support representative will reach out to assist you.
  • In such cases, the following message will be displayed:

  • Price Differences: The new booking may have a different price based on availability.
  • Policy Compliance: Changes are subject to company travel policies and hotel availability.
  • Cancellation & Refunds: The previous booking will be canceled, and a refund (if applicable) will be processed according to hotel policies.
